Vintage Love Layout

Hi there, today I have a layout that I made to enter the current challenges for Scrap Around The World and the Prima Build A Page Sketch.
This month at Scrap Around The World the mood board has gorgeous soft teal, peach's and gold colours which inspired me along with flowers and circular shapes.  I used the sketch from the Prima Build A Page Sketch and used mainly Prima products.
This is a old photo of my Mum and Nana from many years ago that I had scanned. I love the old vintage photos, I've had a whole heap printed so I start using them more often.

On my background I used the Prima Platinum Crackle Paste with the Prima circles stencil. Then I added lots of stamping and some colour with Prima Color Bloom Sprays.

I then added on my flowers and some Prima Vellum Butterflies that I coloured with Prima Chalk inks.

Next I added bling with Brads, pearls and Say it in Crystals.

Some cheesecloth and Finnabair Gold Mica flakes to finish the LO off.

Darling Layout - For Bella Paperie

Hey everyone, here is a layout I made for Bella Paperie a couple of weeks ago. It's been sitting in draft and I forgot to post it. I've been extra busy at work lately and my mind has been letting me down occasionally. This layout is made with the Blue Ferns collection Love Story (it's very beautiful!!) and I have used alot of Petaloo flowers on this also.

I ripped some strips of paper and layered them using lace, I decided to used two photos for this page, both of the same pic but one colour and one black and white. I coloured my modeling paste with sprays for give so more interest instead of just the plain white paste.

My layout along with most of the materials I used to make it can now be found in the Bella Paperie Store.

Memory Lane Layout and Card for Scrap FX

Hi everyone, today I have my projects featuring this months new releases for Scrap FX. I have a layout and a card to share, I don't make cards very often but that is something I want to change.
My layout was made with inspiration from a few challenges that are currently running. 7 Dots Studio's May Challenge - Trees, I used a pic of a gorgeous tree lined path I found on Pinterest and 7 Dots Paper, tags, elements & stickers.  I used colours from the current Lindy's Stamp Gang Colour Challenge. I also used the mood board from Scraps of Darkness/Scraps of Elegance challenge, I was drawn to the grey and black flower with the drops of colour on it in the mood board so I kept my page mainly grey/black with splashes of colour.

I started off my background by stamping the Wrought Iron Stamp with Versamark Ink and embossed it with Lindy's Stamp Gang embossing powder in Midnight Pewter. After the blog hop and seeing Cindy Porter using the crackle paste I feel in love with the idea and brought myself some more pastes - Thanks Cindy xxx. I used the Circle Weave stencil with Finnabair's Antique Silver crackle paste.

On the flat piece of the large Oval Frame I applied a coat of gesso then I stamped the Chicken Wire stamp with Versamark ink, embossed it with clear embossing powder and then sprayed it Lindy's Black Orchid Silver spray . On the top piece of the frame I embossed with Lindy's Stamp Gang embossing powder in Desert Moon Turquoise and King Midas Gold.

I used Lindy's Stamp Gang sprays in Pirates Plunder Gold, Shabby Turbine Teal and Brushed Nickle on my background and to colour some of the flowers.

For the Flourish Diamond mini's and the Memory Lane title I embossed them with the Lindy's Midnight Pewter embossing powder, then I went over the Memory Lane with the turquoise and gold embossing powders I used on the frame.

Lemoncraft Heart Painted Collection - for Bella Paperie

Hi everyone, today I have two layouts that I made for Bella Paperie to take to the Brisbane Papercraft Expo this past weekend. These are using a Lemoncraft collection (Heart Painted) that the store just got in and was selling at the expo. If you have never had your hands on the Lemoncraft products before let me tell you that they are so super gorgeous!!!!!!!

Untitled.

I finished this and then realised that I didn't have a title but I liked it the way it was so it has remained untitled.

I used two different Prima stencils on this, the Bamboo leaves stencil with modeling paste which I when over with a white sharpie to highlight. And the Stone wall #3 stencil in distress ink (Shabby Shutters & Peeled Paint).

I fussy cut out the butterflies from one of the pieces of paper as well as using the flair buttons which coordinate with the collection.

Lemoncraft Products:
Heart Painted Papers: Gladness, Hope, Kindness, Sadness & Love
Heart Painted Flair Buttons

Smile

Because I used the same colour scheme I went with a different layout style - well sort of. This one just has lots more layers and flowers :)

Scrap FX Reverse Canvas

Here is what I made for the hop. A reverse canvas featuring tons of Scrap FX products, lots of them are from this months new release line. I love altering my chippies with embossing powder, the Stampendous ones are my favourite because I love the shabby and aged finish it gives. Gelatos are another great way to colour chipboard - just gesso the chipboard first so you have a nice white surface to work on and this lets your gelatos show their true colours. I have made a start to finish video of how I made this canvas and altered all my chipboard. So please sit back and enjoy, I hope it gives you some ideas on what you could do with your chipboard.
