Hi everyone, today is my day on the Scrap FX blog and I have made this canvas using this photo I printed from Pinterest as a starting point. I'v had the Scrap FX Brickwork panel sitting at home for awhile waiting for the perfect project to use it on and I finally found it.
I made a start to finish video of the making of this canvas so please enjoy. (Sorry for the video length).

Prima Design Team Call 2015

Hi there, Prima have their Design team call on at the moment and I have loved everything Prima since I very first started scrapbooking.  I didn't want to regret not entering this year so I thought I would give it a go. Here are a few of my favourite creations featuring loads of Prima products, two of the layouts a posted earlier today and the rest from the last few months. In amongst my photos are the video tutorials I have made for some of the projects.
I hope you enjoy my creations because I have enjoyed making them, and I know I'll continue to use Prima products for a long long time - especially the flowers since I might have a panic attack if I had to make a flowerless page :)

Beach Moments

Hi again, here is the next layout I created this weekend. This is for the Prima Build-A-Page challange and also the Scrap Around The World Challenge #24. I based my layout on the Prima sketch and then I took the beach feel, the gorgeous colours and the shells/starfish from the Scrap Around The World Mood Board. I know I have scraped these pics of my daughter on the beach to death by I still love them and these challenges gave me another excuse to use one.

On this layout I used papers from Prima's new Bella Rouge collection, and also one of the new Prima stencils - Floral Bouquet. I first used modeling paste with my stencil, then I used so many of my Color Bloom sprays (LOVE these!) to add some colour to the background. I keep it light on this layout I didn't want to overload the page with colour. Then I went back after it was dry and went over the stencil with gesso to make it pop a little better.
To soften the layout I added lots of cheesecloth and for extra beach touches I added some shells and starfish.

Prima Products used on this layout:
Bella Rouge Collection Papers - Sentiments & Les Roses Rouges
Stencil - Floral Bouquet
Finnabair Art Basics - Modeling Paste & Heavy Gesso White
Finnabair Art Ingredients - Glass Glitter: Gold Rush, Glass Beads: Turquoise
Junkyard Findings - Street Signs #892166, Small Typo Bulbs
Shabby Chic Treasures - Cast Iron #890418
Say it in Crystals - Epiphany

Hi everyone, this weekend I have been so busy creating. During last weeks long weekend I didn't spend much time at my craft table I spent alot more time on Pinterest and You Tube getting inspired. So this week I was brimming with tons of ideas and thought I would try them out on a few challenges.

On my background I started off with modeling paste and a Prima pinwheel sencil, then I used the Prima Decor 2 stencil with 3D gloss gel and microbeads in Splash and Blush. Next I used the Lindy's sprays to give a splattered watercolour effect by flicking spray and then spraying a little water to help it blend slightly. I finished by stamping some of the gorgeous new Finnabair butterfly stamps.
My favourite thing about this LO is I finally got my hands on some of the new Prima Vellum Butterflies, they are super adorable!!!!!

Marriage for Bella Paperie

Hi everyone, the newest collection from Pion Designs - Vintage Wedding - is now in the Bella Paperie store and I got to play with it. I had to dig around and find a wedding photo of my Husband and I, we will be married 9 years this month. Wow how times flies, we look so young in this pic.
This Vintage Wedding collection is so beautiful with soft creams, greys and greens, paired with lots of gorgeous flowers I'm really happy with how this page turned out. My layout and most of the materials I used to make it can now be found in the Bella Paperie Store.

On my background I used the Prima Fading Floral stencil with modeling paste and then added colour with a few different sprays (Lindy's Stamp Gang in Clam Bake Beige & Brushed Nickel, Prima Color Bloom in Lime Wedge, & Tattered Angels Glimmer Glam in Waterfall).
Next I went back in with the Prima Sparks stencil and Distress Ink (Antique Linen & Old Paper) to give some more colour and interest to my background,

I cut out some tags from the Vintage Wedding Tags Paper to layer behind my photo. I then layered on my flowers along with some resin, pearl and metal embellishments.

I used white paper flowers and coloured them with the sprays I used on my background so the would match my layout better.

Pion Vintage Wedding Papers used:
- Wedding Dress
 - Rose
- Borders
