Dear Darlin' Layout

Hey there, I combined three challenges to create this page. I used the 13 Arts Challenge which was such a cool idea this month - you had to use a black & white photo, white paper and embellishments with all the colour coming from paints, mists and inks. Plus the title for the page had to come from a song title/lyrics. I chose my fav Olly Murs song "Dear Darlin" as my title, I have it on my playlist that I listen to when I scrap so I though it was perfect for my little darlings pic :) My colours for this page came from the Sassy Scrapper's October Moodboard which was pink for breast cancer awareness month. And lastly for my layout I used the Scrap 365 October Sketch.

 I started by cutting up the 13 Arts paper, Days and Nights from their Fly Away collection. I cut out the butterflies, postmarks, doily shape, words, etc - that paper had such beautiful images on it. Then I layered up my paper and flowers and went wild with pink paint and raspberry mist from 13 Arts. I also used some Scrap FX chipboard - the wings I covered in gesso and the mini swallows I painted with the pink paint. then  I glittered them both with Finnabair Art Basics- Light Pink Art Sugar mixed with gel medium. Plus I added extra glitter to the page to make it nice and sparkly.
