Hi everyone. Sorry it's been a long time between my posts lately. I'm pregnant with a little boy who's due in December and unfortunately my health hasn't been the best so I've been doing more resting and less scrapbooking. But last weekend I sat down for a full day of crafting and here is the layout I made.
The new collection - Heirloom Botanicals from 49th and Market are now at Bella Paperie. This is a truely amazing and beautiful collection, I loved creating with it.
I made this layout as part of the Swirlydoos October Round Robin Challenge
To make this layout I used the Kaisercraft Damask quarters stencil with some purple texture paste to the background. I made the paste with a purple mica powder mixed with modelling paste.
I fussy cut out lots of images from papers to layer under my photo. I framed my photo with a Dusty Attic String Frame which I coloured with embossing powder.
To embellish I added flowers, lace, seam binding and pearl string.
Most of the flowers are from the 49th and Market collection - they pair with the papers perfectly :)
Papers used;
49th and Market Heirloom Botanicals
Heirloom Cutouts
Faded Bloom
Passage
My layout along with most of the materials I used to make it are now in the Bella Paperie store
I am also entering this layout into the More Than Words October Challenge
Change is for how much my daughter is changing and growing up these days, she's almost 10!!!! and I can't believe how old she is looking now, not my baby anymore.
Ombre is for my mix of pink and purples - I love how the blend together, I also coloured the chippie pieces to two shades of purple
Will be looking forward to little boy layouts
