Swirlydoos Kit Club November Second Reveal

Hi there. today I have more projects to share made with the gorgeous Swirlydoos November 2014 Kit - Scarlet elegance.

First up is a layout.

To start this layout I used the Prima Stone Walkway stencil from the Swirlydoos October 2015 Mediums add on kit with the Finnabair white crackle paste from the November 2015 (Scarlet Elegance) mediums add on kit.
Once this was dry I added colour with the Prima Oil Pastels which came in the November 2015 project add on kit. I love these!!!! The colours I used were Lavender, Magenta, Orange and Salmon Pink.
To make the photo mat I used the Prima Watercolour Paper from the project add on kit along with the same oil pastels then inked the edges with Distress Ink. I also used the oil pastels to colour the white flowers that came in the project add on kit

To embellish I used the Melissa Frances resin frame from the October Project add on kit, and the Kaisercraft collectables from the November Embellishment add on. Along with extra flowers, lace, pearls, glass beads and glitter from my stash.

Next up I made three cards using the Prima Paintables and Oil Pastels from the Scarlet Elegance Project add on kit

I attended a crop night and didn't feel like creating much so I sat and coloured in these paintables for a couple of hours instead. It's very relaxing. I scribbled the oil pastels onto my craft mat and used a watercolour paint brush to add the colour onto the picture.
Once I was finished colouring them I used paper from the November 2015 (Scarlet Elegance) main kit to back the card, and added flowers, lace and pearls from my own stash.

Happy Memories for Scrap FX

Hi, it's Bec here today to share with you another hearts layout for Scrap FX

P1060680 adjusted

P1060684 small
I started this page by stamping the Doily Stamp in versamark ink and embossing with pale yellow embossing powder. This gave a light image on the background to add another layer of detail, unfortunately it is hard to see in my photos :( I added colour with Prima Color bloom sprays before I used the heart confetti stencil. I mixed texture paste and heavy gesso together to go through the stencil to make the hearts bright white.
P1060690 small
I  primed all my chipboard pieces with gesso before I coloured the Happy Memories with pale yellow embossing powder, and the Heartscrawl and Love Key with Prima chalk ink. To finish off I added all my flowers and embellishments.

Scrap FX Products used:

This layout was inspired by the November Prima Products Picks
Papers are from the Epiphany and Coffee Break collections. Prima flowers, resin, SIIC and vellum butterfies also used

Bo Bunny Layouts for Bella Paperie

Hi all, today I have my latest layouts made for Bella Paperie
I got to play with new new Bo Bunny collections Provence and Genevieve, both beautiful collections.

First up is my layout for the Provence Collection

This is my daughters school picture from this year, which I of course altered. I can't leave a photo in its natural state any more :)

I started this layout by adding a mixed media background with stencils, texture paste, mists and stamps. Then I started layering, I cut out the clock shapes from the Provence papers, I place a doily under the largest clock. Next I arranged my flowers, and tucked some gorgeous Bella Paperie lace in amongst them.

To finish off I added some metal embellishments, glass glitter, beads and pearls.

Bo Bunny Provence Collection Papers used:
Porcelain
Provence
Cupboards

Inspiration for this layout came from this beautiful autumn mood board from Scrap N Pieces

Next up I have the layout I made with the Genevieve collection.
This collection has gorgeous colours of Blue, Yellow and Gray, so I paired it with yellow and blue flowers.

Again I worked on my background  before I added my paper layers and embellishments.
I used beautiful flowers, pearl string, lace and resins from Bella Paperie.
For the butterflies I put Vellum through my printer and used butterfly printables I found on Pinterest.

Bo Bunny Genevieve Collection Papers used:
Porcelain
Fanciful
Wallpaper

My layouts along with the majority of the products I used on these layouts can now be found in the Bella Paperie Store.

Scrap FX November projects

I'm on the Scrap FX Blog today sharing my creations with this months new releases.
The theme this month is hearts - so many gorgeous new release pieces to work with.

First up I have a canvas to share

I used the Wood Grain Stencil with white crackle paste all over this canvas, before I added mists to colour and the Chicken Wire Stamp. For the Hearts Entwined chipboard piece I coloured it with a pink Gelato before I added silver crackle paste. I also used Gelato's to colour the Graffiti Heart.

Scrap FX products Used:

Inspiration for this canvas came from the current 7 Dots Studio challenge - Wood Grain Texture.
I used the 7 Dots Studios Destination Unknown Collection tags and Illumination Stickers.

Next up I made this card

I stamped the Happy Heart Stamp with Versamark ink and then used pale pink embossing powder. I also used embossing powder on the Heart Swirl Chipboard piece.
