Lemoncraft's Christmas Greetings for Bella Paperie

I'm back for my second post of the night, I've got a little behind on my computer work. This time I've been creating with the Lemoncraft Christmas Greetings Collection for Bella Paperie,

First I have a layout

I used the whole Christmas Greetings range from Lemoncraft with papers, flair buttons, ribbons and flowers that all coordinate together.

I used the Scrap FX Wrought Iron Stamp on the background with red and gold embossing powder. Then a Kaisercraft Quarters stencil with distress ink.

I added touches of extra gold with gold glass glitter and micro beads, plus I added gold Stickles to the edges of some flowers.

Christmas Greetings Products Used:
A Lot of Love paper
A Lot of Hope paper
A Lot of Faith paper
Cover sheet page of paper pack
Let Your Dreams Come True paper
Flair Buttons
Flowers
Ribbons

Next I made a gift box out of the container the flowers came in,

I cut circles of paper for the top and bottom, then a strip to go around the side. I cut out two Christmas ornament shapes from the Let Your Dreams Come True paper to go on the top. I used one of the ribbons to go around the rim of the lid.

I decorated the box with the Lemoncraft flowers and decorations along with some red berries and gold stems.

Blue Fern's Paisley & Vine for Bella Paperie

Hi there, I hope everyone is well. I've been super busy catching up on all the scrapping I missed while I was away on holiday. It's this blog writing part that I dislike the most though - I love the creating aspect but find the writing up boring.
These two projects are the latest things I have made for the Bella Paperie Store using the Paisley & Vine collection from Blue Fern Studios, this collection has lots of bright colours and patterns which are not usually my first choice but I love that I got to have a bit of a change on this one.

One of A Kind

I love this pic of my little one pulling funny faces when I was taking photos.

I started by adding some texture to my background with a stencil and texture paste and then colour with Lindy's Stamp Gang Mists. I put the mist on with a paint brush and spread it around with water so I get the colours blending together,

I cut pieces of the Blue Fern paper to layer under the photos and arranged all my flowers around.

Finally I added some glass beads and micro beads to the edges of my flowers for some extra texture.

This layout was inspired by the Lindy's Stamp Gang September Colour Challenge

 Free Spirit Canvas

I made this 8 x 10 canvas also with the Blue Fern Studios Paisley & Vine Collection. This time I chose the more toned down papers in the collection. I love the teal and brown colour combo so this time I added grey to the mix and was really happy with how it turned out.

I used texture paste and stencils on the canvas before I added colour with mists. Then I layered up lots of paper to go under the photo. I finished of with my usual overload of flowers and embellishing.

My projects along with most of the materials I used to make them are now in the Bella Paperie Store to look at close up.

September Layouts for Scrap FX

Hi, I'm on the Scrap FX blog today and  I have two layouts to share with you today featuring some more of this months new releases, and some of the older products too. Some of my favourite new products each month are the Wordlets, the store has SO many that there is always one to fit every page perfectly. Here I have used two new wordlets to title my pages.

Hugs & Kisses

This is my daughter and her favourite teddy, Cuddles, who gets most of her hugs and kisses, I love this photo too. I made a start to finish video to go with this layout, I hope you enjoy it.

Here is my video

Little Miss

On this layout I used embossing powder to colour the chipboard pieces.

On the background I used the new Fireworks Stencil (2015243) with texture paste. And also the Words of Wisdom Stencil (2015172) with distress inks.

The Mesh Panel (2014124) is perfect to cut up and tuck pieces under the flower clusters. I used the mesh panel on both my layouts - one panel cut up was enough for both.

Inspiration for this layout came from the September Prima Build-A-Page Sketch
Prima Garden Fable collection was used on the LO along with Prima Color bloom sprays and tons of Prima flowers.

And also the moodboard at Berry71bleu where the theme is Forest -  although this pic wasn't taken in a forest just a very overgrown park :)

Vintage Layout for Scrap FX

Hi there, I'm on the Scrap FX blog today to show you some more amazing new release products. Today I have a vintage style layout to share with you that show off some of this months new releases, this is a photo of my Grandmother and Great Grandmother. My favourite product this month is the Filmstrips Transparency  and I cut this up and used it all over this layout.

The new release stencils are also great this month, I used the Fireworks Stencil with Finnabair's Antique Silver crackle paste and the Circle Star Stencil with distress ink.

I coated the new Picture Perfect Mini Wordlet with the silver crackle paste, and coloured the Mini lock  and Flourish G with Stampendous embossing powder in aged silver.
