Dream in Color Layour

Hi, I've created a very colourful layout today, I used the colours from this months Scrap the Girls  moodboard, and my layout came from the sketchabilities #124  sketch.
I don't often use bright colours like this, but this is what I've found the most fun about entering challenges over the last couple of months - it's trying new colour combo's and layout ideas I probably wouldn't have come up with myself.

I started by added texture paste to the background through stencils, and layered on some paper. Then I added my colour, trying to dry the page between each colour so I didn't end up with a big brown mess. For the gorgeous Iron Gate wood flourishes I gave them a coat of gesso then added some subtle colour with embossing powder. The "Dream in Color" card came from Websters Pages Strawberry Fields paper.
