Together: For Once Upon A .....Sketch August Challenge

Hi, Its been busy this weekend, I managed to get two pages completely done as well as a full spring clean of our house. This page is for the Once Upon a ...Sketch challenge "The men in our lives" (http://onceuponasketchblog.blogspot.com.au/).
I chose this older pic of my husband and daughter having a nice time together at the beach, as he is the best man in her life. I don't usually put journaling on my pages and I know why as I put a spelling mistake on this page, but otherwise I'm really happy with how I turned out.

I chose blue and red colours to go with the colours in the photo, and to add those colours I used gelatos and Lindy's Stamp Gang Sprays
I found these sea shells at a budget store the other day, they go so well on a beach page

I coloured the chipboard word with gelatos, Acqua Dolce and Boysenberry to give it that two toned effect.
As always I used modelling paste and stencils to give the background texture, as well as some random stamping.

This months sketch from Once Upon A ....Sketch

  2. This is really gorgeous, beautiful photos and love your back ground and I love flowers too.. I will become a follower as this is a stunning layout and I would love to pop back and see what you create in the future.. As for putting this up on facebook, you need to go to the Once Upon a Sketch site..https://www.facebook.com/pages/Once-Upon-A-Sketch/150044095058422?ref=ts&fref=ts and "like' their page if you havent already.. then you go to where it says..write something on this page, and it says..where it says 'post' or photo/video click on that.. then you will see 3 little things and and the third one is a little camera and you click on that and you can upload your photo of your layout from your computer and then write something like.. this is my layout for your august challenge and then click post.. I hope this helps!! regards Lizzy Crust
