Together for 13 Arts

Hi there, today I have a layout to share that I made as part of the 13 Arts guest design team using loads of 13 Arts products

I started by applying clear gesso to the background paper Written Stories from the Secret Letters collection.

I then used the papers Little Secrets and A Letter To You from the Secret Letters collection plus the paper First Snow from the Winter Tales collection to layer under my photo. I distressed all the layers and inked the edges with brown ink.

I started my background by putting gel medium through the ‘Your Art stencil.
I next added colour with the mists Pastel Cinnamon, Pastel Yellow, Chalk Yellow Amber, Chalk Dark Brown and Pearl Gold Paint. Then some white splashes with watered down gesso. I added modeling paste through the ‘Holly’ Stencil.

I wrapped the Gold Chain string around some white wire trim to layer under my photo, I also layered doilies and chipboard amongst my paper layers.
I added my flowers and embellishments, I used the gold paint and white gesso to add details on the flowers.

I coloured the chipboard with the Pearl Gold paint and then rubbed white gesso on the edges to lighten it.

Finally I added gold sequins from the Gold Sequin String. And Cream Jagoda berries

To embellish I used the Prima Salvage District Ephemera and green rhinestones from the main kit, Prima Salvage District Wood icons, Finnabair metal Hearts and Butterflies from the Embellishment add on kit. Petallo Antigue Green Mini Burlap flowers and Petaloo Natural Burlap Daises from the Flower add on kit, and Prima Resin Hearts from the Project add on kit.

 Love Frame

This love frame is from the Project add on kit. I covered it with the Prima Salvage District paper Palais Royal. From the embellishment kit I used the Finnabair metal hearts and butterflies. Plus I've used the Prima Rub Ons with Stampendous Aged Silver embossing powder.

Frame

This cute wooden frame came with the main kit this month. I made it to match my Love frame. I made a video for this frame but I've had a terrible cold for over a week now so I haven't been able to edit the video in time. I promise I'll share for my next tutorial Saturday.

Three easy cards

I LOVED the Prima rub ons and gold foil from the main kit so I decided to make these super easy cards with them. I used the Blue Fern Studios Timeless papers Papillons and Keepsakes, plus the little hearts from the Prima wood icons in the embellishment add on which I coloured with Inka Gold

Dazzling for Maja Design

Hi everyone, today I have a layout for Maja Design's to share with you.
For this layout I used the Home For The Holidays collection. Even though this is a Christmas collection the papers are very versatile and can be used on any layout. I love the brown tones in this collection.

My background paper is Together, I started by priming the paper with clear gesso before I added light modeling paste through three different stencils. Most of this was covered up but just enough peaks out from underneath.

I added colour with mists in brown, peach and deep red, then a put on some random stamping to add another layer of depth to my layout.
I made a photo mat for my photo with layers of paper in Traditions and Christmas Chorus. I lightly distressed the edges and layered in a couple of doilies.

I embellished this layout with lots of flowers, metal trinkets, a resin frame, lightbulb, twine, lace, pearls, cheesecloth, and a cute little bird.
The title is Blue Fern Studios Chipboard covered with white embossing powder.
